Beauty in the Ashes
These past few weeks have been some of the hardest in my life. I have struggled physically, mentally, emotionally. I have cried and sobbed and felt dangerously close to the edge of the cliff.
But through it all, I have felt more love, prayers, encouragement, empathy, and true connection than I’ve ever felt before. From just-checking-in texts, to the late night FaceTime calls. From the meal drop offs to the prayer circles. From the childcare, driving to and from appointments, laundry assistance, and tears over coffee. The nonjudgemental, “I’ve been there” moments with my too-good-to-be-true tribe have breathed life into my very dry bones.
This is what is getting me through the rocky terrain of my journey.
This is the beauty in my ashes.
